Police have charged a 17-year-old driver with impaired driving after his vehicle left the road and struck a tree, resulting in life-threatening injuries for one of his passengers.

Just before 1 a.m. Nov. 1, emergency services were called to the collision on Dominion Road between Rose Avenue and Kraft Road.
